11 Kenyans Rescued From Human Trafficking Racket In Eastleigh

Police in Nairobi have rescued 11 Kenyans from a human trafficking racket in Nairobi’s Eastleigh estate.

Police say that the 11 Kenyans aged between 23 and 30 years were found locked in a single room at Ushirika Estate in Eastleigh area.

Following at tip off from the members of the public that there were several people locked in a single room at Ushirika Estate within Eastleigh,” the DCI said.

Two foreign nationals namely Thabit Hanni Yaseen Radman and Faren Yassin Radman were also arrested in the operation that took place on Sunday.

The two foreigners are believed to have rented the room where the human trafficking victims were found.

“Upon Interrogation, it was established that the foreigners were allegedly recruiting the young women for unspecified jobs in the middle east. The two Human Trafficking Suspects are in lawful custody as further investigations ensue,” tweeted the DCI.
