13 Pieces Of Human Bodies Recovered In Kijabe Forest
Directorate of Criminal Investigations Officers have recovered 13 pieces of human remains at Kijabe forest.
DCI officers say the remains were found by officers who were following a carjacking incident that happened in Ruiru almost one month ago.
The 13 pieces of human remains are being subjected to DNA analysis.
Also arrested are two more people who are suspected to have had connections with the kidnapping of the taxi drivers.
“Thirteen Pieces of suspected Human remains found at Kijabe Forest & being subjected to DNA analysis; with Two more suspects being arrested within Suswa Shopping Centre, making seven the total number of suspects so far arraigned,” said the DCI in a tweet.
The two arrests brings a to a total of seven people who have been arrested since investigations in the case began.
“Two suspects namely Peter Irungu Maina aged 37 years and Eunice Masiado Nteita aged 18 years have also been arrested within Kinangop area and Suswa area respectively. The two suspects are in lawful custody pending arraignment as efforts to trace the owner of the vehicle continue,” tweeted the DCI.
