- The night inferno left more than 150 families homeless with properties razed down.

More than one hundred and fifty families have been affected by fired that razed down properties along Thiong’o road Mountain View Westlands sub-county.
The inferno left many mouth agape with little to help. Business stalls and residences were are those that were razed down in the early morning incident.
“I have lost all my properties which includes my business stock and other valuables I would like our leaders to come to our rescue because we are left with nothing to show or to lean on.” A victim told Ghetto Radio News.
Cause of the Fire
According to area resident Brian, it is believed that a drunkard messed up with the fire in his house where it could have started.
“The investigations are on but what’s is out there is that the fire started at a drunkard house who was using some source of energy but the fire f fighters have done well they were here on time and managed to rescue a lot,” Brian said.
Victims Plea
Meanwhile residents have called the area leaders to come to their rescue and have them start their life again.
“Sisi tunaomba viongozi wetu wajitokoze na watusaidie we have lost a lot and that help will see us back on our feet again.They have taken their records and we hope that the county government and our leaders will respond positively to our calls.” A victim said.
