Kenya Under 20 Friendly against Egypt Rescheduled
The Friendly match between Harambee stars Under 20 and Egypt under 20 has been rescheduled. The match was planned to take place on February 20, 2017 at the Safaricom’s Stadium Kasarani.
All the same a match venue has now been shifted from Kasarani to Cairo Egypt. However, the date remains to be on 20th February 2017.
The team is set to jet in from Senegal on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 1pm. It will then leave after two days for Cairo on February 18, 2017 for the friendly against the Egyptians.
While in Senegal, the John Kamau coached side played two international friendlies against the West African side and unfortunately the team lost all the two matches.
Harambee stars junior played its first match on February 10th and lost to the Senegalese side 0-2.The side then took on the junior Lions of Teranga on Feb 12th and also recorded another poor result as they lost yet another game with a massive margin of 0-4.
Main objectives of the friendlies aligned are to prepare the team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan.
