22 year old university student who killed five family members says he was inspired by TV Show Killing Eve

Twenty two year old University Student who was arrested for killing five members of his family has confessed to committing the murders.

Lawrence Simon Warunge says that he got the inspiration to kill his mother, father, brothers and family worker from the TV Series Killing Eve.

Warunge who studies IT says that he killed the five people because they allegedly did not want him and were talking ill behind him.

Killing Eve is a British dark comedy-drama spy thriller television series, produced in the United Kingdom.

The series follows Eve Polastri (Sandra Oh), a British intelligence investigator tasked with capturing psychopathic assassin Villanelle (Jodie Comer).

Warunge was arrested on Friday last week and confessed to the police how he killed the five people y hitting them with a blunt object then slitting their throats.

On Saturday Warunge led detectives to the site where he had burried the murder weapons at a pit latrine in Maimahiu.

“Lawrence Simon Warunge, has led detectives to the spot where he disposed the murder weapons and other key exhibits at a pit latrine in Mai Mahiu.The items will be crucial in placing the author of the heinous crime at the centre of the killings,” said the DCI.

“Meanwhile the recovered items will be subjected to further forensic analysis at the DCI Forensic Lab, to provide a watertight case for the prosecution, once presented in court,” the DCI further said.
