Over 30 people have been killed and scores injured in yet another grisly road accident involving Modern Coast bus and 13 other vehicles at Sachagwan along Nakuru-Eldoret Highway.
The accident happened after a truck driver who was being chased by NTSA lost control of the vehicle and hit oncoming vehicles, Modern Coast Bus, four Nissan matatus, a truck and several other private vehicles resulting to the deaths.
The Director of National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Njeri Waithaka said they would release a report this week highlighting black spots on Kenyans roads among the Sachangwan, Salgaa, Mlima Kiu along Mombasa Road and Bonje area.
Yesterday 19 people died in an accident that ocurred in Kitale Bungoma County bringing the total number of people who have died in road accidents in the past 24 hours to more than 40.
President Uhuru Kenyatta has since called for caution among drivers in a bid to stop the increasing number of accidents.
