Activists demonstrate against high cost of living

A section of civil society groups today took to the street to protest against the price of maize floor Ungaa and high cost of living.

The group brought business along Tom Mboya street at a stand still as they sang pro-unga slogans.

Speaking to the media Unga Revolution chairman Joseph Gitonga accused the Jubilee government of not listening the plea of  common mwanchi on Ungaa prices that shoots up daily.

They have further threatened to storm the office of the president weekly should the maize floor price remain hiked.
