The Starehe Boys Center is set to hold a memorial service for the late Kibra MP Ken Okoth.
Okoth who died last week on Friday after a fierce battle with colorectal cancer was a student at the Starehe Boys Center from January 1992 to November 1995.
Okoth was accepted to Starehe Boys Center after he scored 619 marks in KCPE out of a possible 700 marks.
His needy background coupled with his high KCPE marks won him a place at the Starehe Boys Center.
While at Starehe Okoth was a member of the Kirkley House.
The funeral service at Starehe will be presided over by the school’s chaplain Reverend Josphat Wangoto.
Wangoto will be assisted by the school’s associate Chaplain Father Patrick Chege.
Other funeral services that will be held in honour of Ken Okoth will be at the Moi Girls in Kibra Constituency on Thursday.
A group of activists will also hold a memorial service in honour of the devout MP at The University of Nairobi on Friday.
The funeral service will be held at Got Rateng Open Grounds in Kasipul Kabondo in Homabay County on Saturday.
