A reveler was on Tuesday afternoon arraigned in Milimani court for the offense of stealing alcohol from a Liquor store domiciled in Two Rivers Mall in Ruaraka.
Lilian Makena Mwenda was charged with offense of stealing two bottles of Hennessy Xo worth ksh 88000.
The matter was reported by the management of the exquisite Whisky Two Rivers Liquor store.
She was arrested and detained at Gigiri police station and subsequently arraigned before Milimani Law Court.
Makena denied the charges before presiding Magistrate Ben Mark Ekhubi.
She told the court that on the alleged date she was hospitalized at a medical facility in Roysambu area.
Makena further presented medical laboratory test report that revealed that she was excessively drunken at the time she reported at the facility.

The magistrate directed the accused person be released on ksh 50000 bond terms or in default be detained at Lang’ata Women Prison pending determination of the case.
“I direct that the accused person be release on cash bail of ksh 50000,or remain in Langata prison remand pending hearing and determination of the case.” Hon Ben Mark Directed.
Four witnesses to testify in the case.
