Abandoned car with dead bodies found in Lucky Summer

Police Officers are investigating the murder of two middle aged men found in an abandoned car in Lucky Summer estate, Nairobi County.

The bodies were found on Thursday evening by pedestrians who were curious about the vehicle which had been parked at the estate with no number plate.

Starehe Deputy Sub-County Commander Mr. William Sirengo said that they are investigating the murder and only a postmortem will reveal how they died.

“A vehicle has been found in a field in gathecha, lucky summer estate and two bodies of middle aged men in their 20’s were found in the back seat of the vehicle. It is not yet clear how they were murdered and only after the postmortem is done is when it will be clear,” Sirengo told Ghetto Radio News.

He further said that the vehicle in question belongs to a resident of the area who reported it missing on Sunday morning.

“The car belonged to a resident of Lucky Summer who reported it missing on Sunday, 22nd May 2022 at the Lucky Summer Police Post. They received a call from a friend who informed them about the car in the area and together with Police officers from the area they went to the crime scene where he identified the car as his,” Sirengo said.

Sirengo said that the bodies were moved to the City Mortuary where they plan to conduct a postmortem to establish how they died.
