This is after the police boss failed to turn up at the high court to explain the whereabouts of three people allegedly abducted by police in kitengela during Gen-Z protests.
Mr Masengeli instead sent a state counsel to explain to justice Lawrence Mugambi that he is out of office for an official duty.
As consequence the Law Society of Kenya president Faith Odhiambo applied for an warrant of arrest against Masengeli.
Mrs Odhiambo also applied to have the IG cited for contempt for disobeying three court orders requiring him to produce, appear in court and explain the whereabouts of two brothers Jamil Langton, Aslma Longton and activist Bob Njagi.
Mrs Odhiambo told justice Mugambi that the police boss has exhibited the highest level of disrespected to court by fail to attend court and producing the three missing persons.
“I urge this court to stamp its authority qnd cite the IG for contempt of court.” Mrs Odhiambo.
In explaining the absence of the IG the state counsel said the relatives of the missing persons made a report at kitengela police Station that their kins were abducted by unknown persons.
” Reports at kitengela police Station indicates that the three men were abducted by unknown people, they did not say it was the police who abducted the three.” The stated explained.
However LSK disagreed by the averment by the state counsel saying the OCS kitengela confirmed to the Daily Nation newspaper that they were hold activist Bob Njagi.
The LSK maintained that it is only police who bundles suspects in unregistered Subaru cars.
