Activist proposes death sentence for corruption suspects

A Human Rights Activist has launched a signature collection drive seeking to amend the constitution and have Economic crimes punished by death, hanging and life imprisonment.

Activist Michael Njoroge says this will help in completely abolishing the economic sabotage crimes which he claims have sabotaged the country’s development.

Speaking during the launch of the signature collection Njoroge added that the amendment will help treat the economic crimes with the seriousness it deserves.

Njoroge further proposes that individuals implicated in the economic crimes should be barred from holding any public office.
