Adidas is reportedly releasing a special edition of its retro SL 72 running sneaker in collaboration with Bob Marley’s estate.
According to Complex Magazine, the Bob Marley x Adidas SL 72 is scheduled to launch as part of Adidas’ Summer 2024 range.

Adidas Yet To Make An Announcement
Images of the Bob Marley x Adidas SL 72 were posted by Zuri Marley, on her TikTok account a couple of weeks ago.
Adidas haven’t made an official announcement regarding the new sneaker.

The Marley Sneakers
Images shared reveal a first look at the upcoming project, which is revealed to be a special edition of the SL72 running shoe.
It is primarily black on the upper with a pairing of leather and nylon, with clear nods to the music icon’s Jamaican roots via the green and red on the sole.
Bob Marley who shot to fame for his powerful music laced with themes of unity, love, and social justice, was known to be a fan of Adidas, and was often seen sporting the brand’s apparel and footwear.
