After Project X , KFCB now bans similar party
Kenya Film Classification Board KFCB has banned the girls only party organized to take place at a restaurant known as Juniper Kitchen in Westlands.
Through its twitter handle the board says it has banned the party because it suggests that it will be a lesbian hook-party.
The controversial party had ignited an online storm with many questioning the motive of the event.
The spree was set to provide a platform for young individuals aged between 20-25 years to engage in a speed dating session dubbed Rainbow Speed Dating that would last for two hours.
Advance tickets for the July 30 event that has since been cancelled were going for Sh1000 and Sh1500 at the gate – inclusive of a drink.
After the event was advertised on social media, it drew negative feedback from a section of the public hence its cancellation.
This comes months after police stopped a sex party dubbed ‘Project X’ that was slated for Saturday, March 12, in Nairobi’s upmarket area, Kileleshwa.
