Nairobi county health sector has launched a fumigation in matatus in different parts of the county.
The exercise which is aimed at keeping the Public Service Vehicles control and prevent the spread of pests, has been launched in partnership with Peace mission initiative volunteers and the matatus owners in nairobi.
Speaking during the launch of exercise at Green Park bus terminals David Otach Secretary General Peace mission volunteers said that this will keep the publics vehicles heath in check.
Otach said that they are targeting all public services vehicles including online taxis.

Houses to be fumigated
They have started in Nairobi will be rolling out the initiative in the whole country.
Dr Natasia Nyalitah County Executive Committee Member for health Nairobi County expressed the county’s full support for the initiative.
Natasia who represented the Nairobi County in the exercise said that they are ready to work with all froms all sectors.
Matatu owners also proposed that this exercise be done even in the households so that they can prevent the spread of the pest.
