Allin Jua Kali thrashed last year’s finalist Githurai United 3-0 bundling them out of the tournament in the round of 16 Kothbiro off-season tournament.

Allin who had been considered as underdogs coming into the match took an early lead in the 3rd minute through their captain Victor Ochieng giving them confidence to terrorize Githurai’s defense which paid off with a second goal in the 20th minute through George Odhiambo.

In the second half Githurai came back strong but lacked the proper finishing strike force with their shots landing on the crossbar or off target to the disappointment of their numerous fans with Allin taking advantage the attacks to produce a counter attack which handed them the 3rd goal to solidify their lead

According to the team manager Chris Allindi most of the teams underrated which proved to be an advantage to the team of mechanics.

“Most of the teams came in with the mentality they were facing a team of mechanics even to the point of not warming up before the match. We took advantage of the underrating to ensure we scored early goals in the game unsettling our opponents easily giving us the upper hand in the game.” Said Allin

The team manager also expressed joy having eliminated the defending champions Cinema and also last year’s finalist Githurai United which is a boost to their title quest.

In the last match of the day Ziwani’s Nyoi continued their winning streak in the estate derbies by seen of Majengo’s Borussia 1-0 handing them the bragging rights

Goal keepers from both teams had a busy day with attacks continuously fired at them prompting saves that elated jeers from the different fans
