The Board had a session on Thursday with returning officers who were trained and are set to be dispatched to their respective centers starting this evening.
Board Chairman Prof. Edwin Wamukoya further reiterated that the elections will go on as planned despite uncertainties occasioned by court cases leveled against the Federation.
“Elections will go on as planned. As a Board, we have not been served with any letter that could make us postpone or cancel it,” said Prof. Wamukoya.
“The eligible clubs registered under FKF have already been published and will be available on the Electoral Board website before the end of the day today (Thursday),” added Prof. Wamukoya.
He continued, “The elections will be held in 18 Counties as the remaining Counties have unopposed members and will be announced and awarded with certificates after the elections at the FKF Electoral board office in the FKF headquarters.”
County elections have been scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019, while National elections will be held on December 7, 2019.
