Tanzania President Suluhu Hassan left the country today after her two day visit of the country.
Suluhu’s visit to the country was meant to mend the once severed ties between Kenya and Tanzania during President John Pombe Magufuli’s reign.
Some of the good news that came with Suluhu include a gas pipeline plan from Dar es Salaam to Mombasa.
The plan is part of a long-term project to share energy resources.
Suluhu and Uhuru Kenyatta also agreed to ease the movement of people across the borders so as to foster integration.
Uhuru also stated that no Tanzanian will need a visa or work permit to work in Kenya.
But perhaps the little noted detail was the fashion sense of the President. On her first day of visit, notably to many Kenyans, Suluhu changed her outfit three times.
- Brown suit
When she landed, she was clad in a light brown suit completed with a dark brown hijab. At the airport, she was received by Foreign Affairs Ministry Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo.
2. Maroon suit
Her second outfit was a maroon suit worn with a light purple hijab.
3. Dinner outfit
This was perhaps her most outstanding outfit. This flowery and yet so subtle outfit was worn at the end of the day during her state banquet at State House.
