An unknown man aged 25 to 30 years committed suicide in Umoja 3’s Mugonda area on Wednesday afternoon.
According to witnesses, the man was found hanging on a tree with a live owl perched on his head
Area residents were shocked by the incident as the police tried to chase the bird away but it would not leave.
“We don’t even know him.We just found his body hanging from the tree and the owl was on his head just crying, It would not even go away when the police chased it.” said Tony, a boda boda operator in the area
Witnesses now want the death probed adding that witchcraft may have been involved
The body has been taken to the city mortuary.
