“This is heart breaking, we worked together at Nation and he was always such a stand up guy. Always ready to help out. RIP my friend,” wrote Irungu.

Her former colleagues have eulogized her as a beautiful soul and a very talented individual.

“Lorna Irungu, rest In peace! God bless your soul,” wrote media personality Smriti Vidyarthi.

“Brilliant person. Well researched. She exchanged with decorum and countered differing views in a way that left you with fresh knowledge, I was lucky to be interviewed by her & to share a panel too. The angels will LOVE her company. To Family, God stretch His hand your way,” Dennis Itumbi

“Rest well Lorna. You were so precious and extremely talented. I did admire your strength,” Betty Kyalo.
