Former Nation FM Presenter and Lorna Irungu has succumbed to Covid-19 related complications.
Irungu who was also a director at the Gina Din Group had also battled Lupus for more than 20 years.
She had undergone three kidney transplants within a span of 15 years.
Irungu dies just one week after mourning Royal Media Services Radio News Managing Editor Robin Njogu who also died of Covid-19.

“This is heart breaking, we worked together at Nation and he was always such a stand up guy. Always ready to help out. RIP my friend,” wrote Irungu.
Her former colleagues have eulogized her as a beautiful soul and a very talented individual.
“Lorna Irungu, rest In peace! God bless your soul,” wrote media personality Smriti Vidyarthi.
