Singer Bahati has revealed how he deals with online trolls days after the controversial photo shop on his family portrait.

The Bahatis recently celebrated the birthday of their son Majesty who turned four years old. Bahati penned a message opening up about what a joyous moment it was when his son was born. The dedication was a collage of family portraits that showed how united the family was.

Unfortunately, one of those pictures was altered online to include several other celebrities.

Speaking today on Ghetto Radio’s breakfast show, Brekko, hosted by Maji Maji and Deejay Katta, the celebrated singer mentions that the best way to deal with trolls is simply by turning a blind eye to all the negative comments directed to him and his family.

“I felt as a parent ama member of this society as a man and as a parent, I feel like the line was crossed. Nataka kukupea opportunity kwanza as a father kuset things straight. Ile picha ilitokea sijui wameweka kila mtoto na buda mwingine how does it feel?”Maji Maji posed the question.

The ‘My Abebo’ hit maker responds saying, “For me I don’t allow it iniingie wala sijiallow kuskia vibaya you know at the end of the day nabelieve niko kwa public na ukiwa kwa public space of course kila mtu atakuwa na opinion yake.”

As a dedicated father, the singer states that he would always remind his children not to let the public define who they are as individuals.

“Despite watu kukuwa na hizo jokes mingi wakimention watoto huwa nafeel ni kama wamecross the line. For me it’s just to also encourage my kids to know that they found themselves in the public space and the public opinion should never define who you are.”
