Gospel star Bahati has been the center of attention after a number of his former EMB signees came out to say that working with him and his wife has been difficult.

The ‘mama’ hit maker has now responded saying he does not actually make money from artistes at EMB.

“EMB entertainment is a business which wants to raise people, actually it’s more of a ministry because it doesn’t make money from the artistes. So if money is not involved you cannot fall out with anyone. We are still building and its time for another artiste (to be signed),” he explained

David Wonder had earlier claimed Bahati told them that he had done his part in their careers and whoever wanted to leave the label was free to do so.

Bahati has also been accused by upcoming gospel singer Made for Jesus (M4J) of refusing to pay his debt.

M4J says he printed 150 t-shirts for Bahati when the singer was launching his album but he has never been paid for the job.

M4J also said that Bahati blocked him from accessing the venue on the day of the album launch.
