Speaking at his album release party in Kampala, Bebe Cool emphasized the significance of “Break the Chains” for the broader African music scene. 

“This is the beginning of a new journey for both African music and Ugandan music at large,” Bebe Cool stated. 

He added that the album aims to “inspire, innovate, and show that African artists can tell powerful stories while owning our digital space.” 

The album’s compositions are described as featuring lush arrangements and rich melodies, highlighting Bebe Cool’s continued artistic growth.

Nigerian Afro-pop artist Yemi Alade appears on “African Love,” while rising Ugandan star Joshua Baraka is featured on “Cheque.” 

International Kenyan DJ and producer DJ Edu also contributes to the track “Games.” 

The album’s lead single, “Circumference,” produced by Nigerian hitmaker PhilKeyz, is a vibrant anthem. 

This was followed by “Motivation,” a more romantic and inspirational track produced by Bushington and Melanin Boy, which was accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by South Africa’s Garrick Williams.
