Gospel Musician Rose Muhando’s controversial Ksh. 50,000 concert seemed to have flopped after fellow gospel musicians gave it a wide berth.

Not even artists that have collaborated with Muhando turned up for the plush event held at the Kempinski Hotel.

Media personality Joyce Gituro has thrown a backlash to Kenyan Gospel artists for skipping Rose Muhando’s event.

“Jambo la kwanza nimesikitika sana na wasanii wa Kenya na hili liingie na uwaambie,na liende hewani kwamba Kenyan artist’s nafeel wamelet Rose down”

She further castigated them for talking ill about the event on social media than working towards a solution.

Rose Muhando had stated that she would use the proceeds form the event in putting up a house for the Lord.

“Watu waliongea tu kwa mitandao badala waseme, wapeane solution… No one hakuna yule aliyejitokeza, they went bad mouthing hiyo ni kitu ambacho mimi sijafurahia na artists Wakenya haswa wa injili” Added a fuming Gituro.

Born again secular rapper Bamboo however turned up. He also tagged along his Ugandan wife Erica.

Controversial Gospel Singer Ringtone also showed up and lived to his billing by donating one hundred thousand to the Tanzanian Gospel Singer.

He said he would have given more, were it not been a weekend as banks had closed business.

“Naskia aibu Ringtone mzima nimetoa elfu mia moja yaani ata watu wasiskie, nilikuwa nataka nitoe milioni yaani ni venye tu leo ni weekend benki zimefungwa” Said Ringtone.
