Biting Water Shortage Hits Ngara

Nairobi’s Ngara residents are up in arms following a biting water shortage that has hit the area.

The residents who live along Park Road area say that the rationing has been caused by the construction of new housing units which started early this year.

The biting water shortage has in turn made water vendors sell water expensively to the residents.

Currently a 20 litre jerry can is retailing at Ksh. 40 a price that the residents say is too expensive.

The residents hope that the water shortage will end this September when the housing project is finished.
