Boda boda operator found with stab wounds in the neck

A boda boda operator in Kisumu West Sub County was on Friday morning found unconscious with several stab wounds on the neck.
Zadock Okwach went missing on Thursday evening after he had left his home for the Kisian stage.
His brother George Ogada told Ghetto Radio News that they found Okwach with wounds around his neck that were seemingly inflicted with a sharp object.
“My brother came home that evening after transporting some goods for his customer. After a short while he left and went back to their stage at Kisian. Unfortunately, he never came back only to be found lying along Ojola road Unconsciously and stabbed severally around the neck on Friday morning,” explained George Ogada.
It is alleged that the murderers fled with his motorbike which was on Loan.
He was rushed to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital where he later passed on while receiving treatment.
“We rushed him to the hospital where he later passed on while receiving treatment,” he added.
Ogada is however questioning how the motorbike that their brother had taken on loan ended up in the hands of the dealership that sold him.
Th area Chief Kennedy Odhiambo Gor confirmed that the case has been reported and Investigations have commenced.
He further warned the motorbike riders to be intelligent and cautious with their life while carrying out their activities.
“Those working in bodaboda sector should be cautious and stop conducting their duties during Odd hours. They should also know areas they are taking their customers to and stop carrying strange people,” he warned.
One suspect has been arrested waiting to be arraigned in court.
The body is lying at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral hospital waiting for Postmortem to established what might have caused the death.
