A body of an unidentified man has been found lying on the shores of the Indian Ocean at Centi Kumi area in Likoni, Mombasa County.
The body was discovered on Friday morning by a beach management unit who then notified police.
According to eyewitnesses, the deceased may have drowned elsewhere before the body was swept by currents to the area.

Witnesses also say that the body did not have any visible injury but was swollen.
Police have transported the body to Coast General Hospital morgue pending identification and autopsy.
