Bounty Killer has hailed US rapper Busta Rhymes for his powerful unity speech delivered at the recently concluded BET Awards.
He shared the footage of Busta Rhymes delivering his moving unity speech on his Instagram.
He recommended the message be embraced far and wide among all black communities to foster growth and tranquility.
‘’Congratulations again my bro! Well deserved one of the 90s gem.” He noted.
“This speech should be resonated into all black communities way beyond. Unhealthy competition is destroying black youths, pitching them against each other. Wise up and rise up, this is the only way out.’’ He wrote.
Busta Rhymes was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the BET Awards ceremony. He is one of the most decorated rappers in US history.
According to him, gate keepers in the hip hop industry were against the violence and animosity traded by artists in the rap community.
He added that the only way for prosperity was in working together.
Bounty Killer has metamorphosised into a peace champion having buried his longstanding feuds with fellow artist’s like Beanie Man and Mr. Vegas.
The raspy-voiced singer is considered among the leading dance hall star’s in Jamaica thanks to his longevity and contribution in the industry’s growth.
The 2002 Grammy Award winner was also feted in 2023 with a Lifetime Award at the International Reggae and World Music Awards(IRAWMA).
Fondly referred to as the General, Bounty Killer is known for songs like Genuine Fathers, Killa Wave and 50 Caliber among others.
