Dancehall icon Rodney Price popularly known as Bounty Killer has revealed that he underwent a life-threatening surgery in May 2021 and getting healed in less than one year through God’s grace.
Taking to his Instagram, Bounty shared a photo showing his stitched belly from the near-death encounter noting that it was the first time he was sharing the ordeal with the public.
“The first time I’m sharing this with the public 3yrs ago in May 2021 I did a major surgery and with the mercy of God I was able to be healed and full recovered in less than one year” he wrote partly.

Fondly referred to as the General, Bounty shared his gratitude towards his family, fans not forgetting the doctors and nurses at the University Hospital, Toney Twaits who saw him through the dark period.
The Everybody Falla singer further appealed to anyone going through a dark period to believe that they’ll triumph no matter what.
Bounty further noted that he waded through the period with his head held high despite it at the height of the corona virus pandemic.
“Different type of struggles don’t compare my life or try comprehend it give thanks to my family close friends the doctors the nurses and staff at the University Hospital Toney Twaits Ward particularly life is a journey not a destination if you can’t run walk if you can’t walk then creep but don’t stop until you drop I was out here jumping and prancing during the whole healing process in the pandemic like a mutant” he summed up.
Bounty’s commentary has since flooded with messages of goodwill from his fans and fellow entertainers who continue to wish him well.
However, Bounty is yet to reveal the circumstances that led to the surgery.
