Detectives in Kaimosi, Nandi county are looking for a 17-year-old boy who killed his cousin on Sunday following an argument over charging a mobile phone.
Josephat Kibet aged 31 was stabbed on the left side of his chest by the minor before taking off.
He died upon arriving at the Kapsabet County Referral Hospital.
“Josphat Kibet, 31, was pronounced dead on arrival at Kapsabet County Referral hospital, from an arrow wound inflicted on him by the juvenile,” said the DCI in a statement.
“Preliminary investigations indicate that the two had argued over who would charge their phone first, before the young man reached for an arrow, stabbed the deceased on the left side of his chest before taking off,” said the police.
Detectives have launched manhunt on the suspect.
