A 22 year old man who has been missing for more than one week has been found at the city mortuary with strangulation marks.
Ramadhan Karim allegedly went missing on Friday 10th of October in Mlango Kubwa area at around 7.30 PM after he was allegedly arrested by police officers.
His friend Abdul Karim says that mortuary documents indicate that his body was recovered from Nairobi River in Kariobangi area.
“I have lost a very important person in my life. It was on Sunday last week at around 7.30 PM, he bid me bye and decided to go home. When he got to Guru Nanak he was arrested by police. He called a friend and said that he had been arrested but when he was about to say where he was, the phone was taken from him by an unknown person and was hung up,” said Karim.
The deceased who is a father of one allegedly has strangulation marks on his neck, an indication that he might have been murdered.
“We suspect that the police killed him, he had strangulation marks on his neck and his face had dents a sign that he had been tortured before he was eventually murdered,” said Karim.
