Well organized and attended event.
If attendance was a mark of success, then this will go down in history as the most paid and well attended event. The much-anticipated event was sold out, filled to capacity. The organizers gave it their all in the set up, it lived to the premium billing but for the short performance.

Boyz II Men made it to Kenya for the first time in history. The trio all men band composed of baritone Nathan Morris, tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman jetted in on June 8th. They head to Uganda for the next schedule. They are best known for timeless hits such as On Bended Knees, I’ll make love to you, End of the Road, One Sweet Day and It is So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday.”

Why Yetu Festival

The event was dubbed Stanbic Yetu Festival and powered by Radio Africa group. Joshua Oigara, the CEO of Stanbic Bank Kenya said the relevance of bringing Boyz II Men in Kenya was to show case dreams and goals are brought to life by doers which is a core intent of Yetu ideology.
“Bringing two big boy bands in the world together on one stage is evidence of the ideology. Matching Sauti Sol to Boyz II Men is a game changer for Kenyan music and this seed planted will create new heroes for our generation” Joshua Oigara justifying the bands together on one stage.

In 2022, Stanbic Yetu festival featured the soulful Anthony Hamilton at Carnivore grounds.
