After waiting for Jamaican reggae sensation Mark Anthony Myrie polpularly known as Buju Banton, Kenyan reggae lovers finally got their wish to watch the legend perform last Saturday.
Buju jetted into the country on Thursday night ahead of the Saturday concert and even had a chance to visit a childrens home and Maasai Market before the concert.
On Saturday, a huge crowd turned up at the KICC to watch the Gargamel pelt some of his legendary hits of all time.
Buju Banton alongside his enigmatic 10-piece Shiloh Band performed for close to four hours from around mid night to the wee hours of Sunday morning.
The opening acts for the night were a mixture of veteran reggae deejays and MCs. like DJ Double,Trouble, DJs Kace, Selector Technix and ZJ Heno with reggae crooner Lavosti and Fyah Mummah Jahmby Koikai making her first major live appearance since returning to the country following a year long treatment in the United States.
