KPL Champions jets off to Algeria ahead of Caf Confederation Cup clash

With the league title secured, Kenya Premier League Champions Gor-Mahia now turns their attention to the Caf Confederation Cup.

Kogalo jetted off to Algeria today to face second placed USM ‘A’ and must win to guarantee themselves a quarter final berth.

On Saturday K’Ogalo beat AFC Leopards 2-0 to be crowned champions in front of their eternal rivals with six games (71 points) to spare.

They only lost one match against Bandari where they were beaten 2-1 in Mombasa.

A congested fixture seemed to make their quest to win 17th title difficult but their Coach Dylan Kerr tried his best to rotate his squad.

Jacques Tusinge has been named in the squad that will play in Algiers on Wednesday Also making the team is goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch, who has recovered from a shoulder injury.

Ivorian striker Ephraim Guikan is missing from the squad that will be led by club CEO Omondi Aduda.
