On Thursday, 1st March 2018, Africa Fuels and Lubricants Ltd (AFAL) and Ghetto Radio stormed Kirinyaga road in a bid to increase awareness of Caltex products in the Kenyan market. The day was filled with informative sessions with customers, business owners, garage personnel and auto spares dealers on Caltex products, specifically their use, variety, benefits and superiority in the market.

This day also witnessed the launch of the #Caltex BebaBeba scratch & win promotion, a three month campaign aimed at rewarding Caltex customers who purchase selected Delo and Havoline products.

The participation process is as follows;

  • Buy Havoline® or Delo®
  • Scratch the card on the product label to reveal unique code
  • Send the code to 40084 via SMS

Prizes to be won include: a pickup, motorbikes, phones, overalls, T-shirts, airtime vouchers among others.

Gitau, a mechanic on Kirinyaga road, was the lucky winner of an overall and reflector vest after buying Havoline oil. He praised Caltex products and services for their impeccable quality.


Charles Mwangi, a mechanic at Grogon with 15 years’ experience, says using Caltex Oil products ensures minimal engine smoke and guarantees the engine’s long life.

Mwende, an auto spares dealer gave testament to the fact that clients love Caltex products for their affordability, great quality and consistency in performance. She said the Havoline oil lives up to its claim of a 10,000 km drain interval.

Emma Njeri, a dealer and owner of Auto Emfa Auto spares in Grogon praised Caltex products for their quality saying positive feedback from her customers is overwhelming.

Caltex products can be found at auto spares shops and garages along Kirinyaga Road/Grogon in Nairobi specifically the AFAL Shop, Mau Summit, Atlantis and Jesmiras just to name a few. The establishments are authorized dealers of Caltex products for both wholesale and retail needs. The next garage storm organized by AFAL and Ghetto Radio 89.5 FM is set to be held at Kayole, Nairobi on Tuesday 6th March 2018.
