Musonye pointed out that the competitions with Kenya Premier League (KPL) giants Gor Mahia and Ulinzi stars as the representatives,Kenya has organized a good competition.
He noted that “the previous competition that was held in 2013 was shambolic and this year there will be a change in how things will be done. There will be no problem at all”.
Musonye also explained that the change in dates are to allow clubs to prepare for CAF as well as the confederation cup,
We are in talks with the sponsors and regional organizers who proposed that Cecafa Kagame cup to be played towards the end of the year to allow clubs in our Zone to prepare for CAF and confederation cups.
