Uganda singer Jose Chameleone is still under fire days after a video of him beating up a boda boda rider emerged on social media platforms.

Jose Chameleone’s wife Daniella Atim Mayanja is also demanding justice for the boda boda rider.

In a post on her Instagram page, she speaks out condemning her husband’s violent act mentioning that justice should be served and that there is no room for violence.

“Zero tolerance for violence,” Atim shared, captioning an artwork that read: “Violence will not be tolerated.”

Chameleone was reported to have attacked the boda boda rider and caned him for allegedly knocking his Range Rover as he was heading home.

In the video which emerged on TikTok on Friday 20th January, the singer is seen beating up the boda boda rider on the road side. The rider tries to fight back but is contained by Chameleone’s entourage.

Daniella has been congratulated for her move of condemning her husband’s wrong doing with an Instagram user mentioning that every woman needs this kind of courage.

“If you ever wanna write a diary of a mad black woman Ugandan version, it should be @daniellaatim’s story. Every woman needs this courage.” Reads the comment.

Do you feel like Daniella’s move of calling out Chameleon’s behaviour was right or she should have been supportive of her husband regardless of the situation? Feel free to share your thoughts.
