Cameroon will play against Congo-Brazzaville in the on going 2018 African Nations Championship (Chan) at the Stade Adrar in Morocco on Tuesday.

The Indomitable Lions qualified for the finals after thumping São Tomé and Príncipe 4-0 on aggregate in the first round of qualification last August.

This will be Cameroon’s third appearance in the continental competition which exclusively features players from national championships.

Former Cameroon captain and defender Rigobert Song will be in charge of the Indomitable Lions in Morocco.

Cameroon are hoping to win the Chan title for the first time having been knocked out of the competition in the quarterfinals twice.

Meanwhile, Congo-Brazzaville qualified for the finals after defeating the 2016 Chan champions, DR Congo, on the away goals rule after a 1-1 draw on aggregate in the first round of qualification last August.

The Red Devils will participate in the finals for the second time having made their debut appearance in 2014 in South Africa.

Barthelemy Gatsono is the man who will be in charge of Congo-Brazzaville in Morocco. He was also in charge of the team during the qualifiers.

The Red Devils were knocked out in the quarterfinals in 2014 and they will be hoping to go all the way this year.
