Considering the Head of State’s tight schedule, Ruto seems to have ‘deligated’ unofficial ambassadorial role to her third born daughter Charlene Ruto in the vote-rich Kibra and Eastlands parts of Nairobi.

Unlike former first families who kept off the limelight, Charlene Ruto has in the been seen seen trying to wade through mythological political dirty waters.
On Saturday, Charlene spent her afternoon at Woodley Grounds in Kibra watching a match between Kibra Black Stars and Kawangware based FIFA Best.
During the match,President’s daughter could be seen chatting and chuckling in the company of ordinary youths some with unkempt hairs and bunch of mogoka in their hands.
Charlene also revealed that she had to ask her father to allow her work with the youth.
“Nili-decide kujituma, I went and told him, Babaa, I am passionate about the young people in this country, allow me to work with them and support what they do,” she narrated.
Charlene further added by saying that the President gave her his blessings.
“My work is to support what the young people are doing.”
She urged the youth to work toward creating job opportunities and approaching the right people in various fields for prosperity.
