President Uhuru Kenyatta has fired Cabinet Secretary of Agriculture Ministry mwangi Kiunjuri.

Kiunjuri a former ally of Uhuru and now a fierce defender of Deputy President William Ruto was shown the door during a cabinet reshuffle announced by Uhuru in Mombasa.

The major changes also saw CS Adan Mohamed of East Africa Community shown the door.

The cabinet changes also saw former Nyeri County Senator Mutahi Kagwe appointed to the Health Ministry as Former Health CS Sicilly Kariuki has been moved to the Water docket.

The Ministry of Industrialization also has a new Cabinet secretary Betty Maina.

The ministry of defense and foreign affairs have had the CSs swapped with Rachel Omamo moving to Foreign Affairs and Monica Juma takes over at the Defense Ministry.
