English Premier League side Chelsea FC have bolstered itself with the signing of Ivorian attacker David Datro Fofana .
Previously,the impressive youngster turned out for Norwegian side Molde,a former club of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Fofana’s signing comes at a cost of £11 Million for Chelsea.
Fofana has been outstanding on the pitch,he has scored 24 goals out of 65 appearances for his club.
The towering Fofana has great speed and accuracy and can score with either foot, though his right foot has registered more goals than the left one.
He terrorizes defenders,his crosses are accurate and is creative with set pieces.
Fofana’s acquisition is seen as a good cover for Armando Broja who suffered a ligament injury in their friendly against Aston Villa.
The youngster joins Chelsea on January 1,2023.
Fofana joins a growing list of Ivorian players who also had a stellar performance at Chelsea, the likes of Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou among others.
We hope Fofana will continue with his goal menacing at the Blues.
