Jamaican dancehall superstar Chris Martin has embraced Swahili in a new collabo with Kenya’s Arrow Bwoy dubbed “Hapo”.
The “Mi Friend Dem” hitmaker sang a few lines in Swahili in his opening first verse including the song’s chorus which features “Hapo” sang repetitively.
Arrow Bwoy kicks off the onslaught after their introduction with an infectious chorus where Chris Martin also infuses his melodious vocals.

With a fast-paced dancehall beat, Arrow Bwoy cleverly plays with words while singing the chorus with his voice complementing Chris Martin’s.
“Hapoo, hapo umeguza usibadilishe (hapo), umeguza penye wengi, how you whining girl I like it (hapo)” sings Arrow Bwoy partly.
“Press up your body pon di gafa (Hapo), gal your body nice and proper (Hapo), come back it up don dada (Hapo, hapo, hapo)” sings Chris Martin.
Thereafter, Chris Martin comes through with the first verse with his killer vocals not to mention his signature dancehall vibe.
With the clanking of the instrumentation, Chris Martin embraces a few Swahili lines while summing up his verse further adding life to their masterpiece collaboration.
“Cheza na mimi nikupe unachotaka” he sings partly.
The song’s chorus comes back again and they hold it together before Arrow Bwoy takes over with the second verse.
Arrow Bwoy doesn’t disappoint either with his clear-cut delivery done in a fusion of both English and the urban lingua, Sheng.
