Chrispine Mudhune was on Sunday September 4 crowned the overall winner of the Bi-annual Kenya Re Golf tournament after carding an impressive 43 Points at Karen Golf Club.
Chrispine played an incredible round of golf during the tournament and was very happy to receive his corporate prize during the evening dinner and cocktail session.
The Lady of the day was Eunice Koome who won the best Ladies prize win a score of 41 points. Mwanzo Moseti bagged the best industry winner prize.
The overall staff winner was Linus Kowiti with 35 points. Morris Kinyanjui won closest to the pin prize and Owino Ayondo was awarded for the longest drive of the day.The course overpowered Robert Nzioka who was awarded the “Piga mingi” prize.
Kenya Re Managing Director, Mr. Jadiah Mwarania thanked the players during the evening dinner and cocktail event held after the tournament.
“We thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to competitive in this tournament. I would like to congratulate the winners and all players for their stellar performance in today’s tournament, ” he said.
He further stated that the Corporation is grateful for the support they received and looked forward to maintaining and creating new relationships, strengthening business ties and moving forward together to make Kenya a wonderful nation.
The tournament has recorded an increase in players from its last golf day held earlier in the year at the same venue. Recently the Corporation successfully launched the 2016 Niko Fiti campaign edition dubbed Ability beyond Disability which targets to impact the lives of over 1000 people.
