Christian Longomba dies in the US

Christian Longomba, the half of the popular Kenyan Pop group Longombas is dead.

Christian breathed his last while receiving treatment at the Downtown Los Angeles Hospital in the Us.

The sudden loss was confirmed by his twin brother Lovi Longomba who was at his bedside.

“To be absent from the body is to be present with Lord. I love you Christian, my brother, my friend and partner but Jesus loves you more. Enjoy Heaven,” posted Lovi on his social media.

The Singer had undergone a successful brain surgery back in 2015 to get rid of tumors.

He developed complications and was losing a lot of weight by the day.

Lovi bounced into the Kenyan music scene with the song ‘Dondosa’ in the early 2000s.

The energetic duo Comprising his twin brother Lovi Longomba kept the industry on it’s knees with hit after hit.

From ‘Shikamore’, Dondosa’Usinihande’and Vuta Pumz.

They later relocated to the Us in search of greener pastures.

Music runs deep in the family, Congolese Soukous Star Awilo Longomba is their uncle and Colonel Mustapha the half of Deux Vultures, now defunct being their cousin.

Fans and Celebrities have been pouring condolense messages to the fallen Star.

The Funeral date will be announced later, we wish the family peace during this trying moment.
