Cooperate With Government
“This awareness is more beneficial to me I don’t take it for granted. I have learnt a lot of new things like people usually says that using drugs relieve stress but from the awareness I have found out that drugs will only relieve stress for a while, dangers of smoking and many more,” Said Sam.
Citizens, religious organizations should work with the government to finish drug abuse in the country
Mrs. Kagwa is now calling on the community to partner with the government to kill this issue of drugs from Kibera.
“As the church we cannot do it alone, the government cannot do it alone, we need to pull together as a team. When you see an addict advise him or her, take him to nearest medical facility for assistance because drugs cause death depression and many others. We need each other in fighting drugs in Kiber,” she concluded.
