Criminal lawyer Cliff Ombetta representing the Akasha brothers who have been extradited to the United States has expressed fury ove r the manner in which the two brothers Ibrahim Akasaha and Baktash Akasha were arrested and extradited.
Ombeta who spoke on an exclusive interview with Ghetto Radio’s Majimaji says the Akasha’s extradition process should have been done according to the law.
Ombeta also cited lack of cooperation from the US authorities in the drug trafficking claims against the two brothers.
Ombeta who shed tears court over the Akasha extradition further revealed how the Akasha’s were held in police vehicles and not booked in police stations as is required by the law.
He says some police officers even threatened to kill him during his probe on the arrests.
