Collo Mfalme calls out Kenyan Gospel Artistes
Secular turned Gospel artiste Collins Majale popularly known as Collo Mfalme has called out Kenyan gospel singers.
The gospel industry has been facing a lot of controversies for some time now with artistes like Willy Paul shifting gear and Bahati being faced by daily scandals.
According Collo, the Kenyan gospel industry has been facing challenges because many artistes do not understand what it is to walk in the prophetic.
“Motives and intentions, these people worship power and influence instead of embracing the truth and they do not understand that they walk in the prophetic. If someone is after power and fame, it is bound to fail. The entertainment industry is filled with people who are after influence. Show me a gospel artiste in Kenya and ask them where are they rooted, who do they sit under, who is their pastor. If they can’t answer that, They are not gospel artistes.” He said
Collo who is set to be launching his first gospel album over Easter says he decided to denounce his King of rap tittle to go after a different crown.
“Right now everyone is King of something. I have been there and it’s time for me to go after a different crown. That is why I am calling on all these Royalties to join me during my Claim the crown concert so that we can all claim the crown of Christ.” He added
Collo maintains that he is here to bridge the gap that has been lacking in the gospel Industry which has suffered major fall outs in recent times.
Collo who has a new tune dubbed “Conqueror” is also set to drop four more new tracks before the launch of his album in April.
The four songs will be exclusively released on your favorite radio station Ghetto Radio 89.5 every Tuesday until Easter.
Tune in to Ghetto Radio’s Brekko every Tuesday from 6:00 am to 10:00 am to be the first to have a taste of Collo’s new music.
The Claim the crown concert is set to go down at Chandaria Center for Performing Arts during Easter.
