Veteran rapper Colonel Mustafa has undergone crucifixion in his new song dubbed “Mpe Muda” which loosely translates to things falling into place at God’s time.

In the new song, Mustafa plays Jesus Christ as he undergoes what the son of God went through on his way to crucifixion.

The former Deux Vulture’s member struggles carrying a wooden cross, his robe is smeared in blood. He also has a thorny crown resembling the one Jesus had.

The visual borrowed heavily from Jesus last days on earth as his accusers lash him with strokes.

God’s Timing

The song’s storyline delves on things falling into place at God’s timing.

According to Mustafa, there are difficult moments but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.

The musician further taps on the current high cost of living while also bringing out his creativity to game by invoking Vera Sidika’s separation from Brown Mauzo.

“Kuna kupata na kukosa nimeshasema komando nipate mjengoni Nairobi nahustle abracadabra leo pata kesho kosa abracadabra leo pata kesho kosa Brown ameachwa Vera amerudi Mauzo ghetto youth anasuffer bei ya unga imepanda” he sings partly.

The song is laid back tune with the instruments complementing the singer’s narration.

Despite the video’s simplicity, there’s a good display of lighting with different set-ups from additional sets.
