Comedian Eric Omondi is continuing to prove that he is indeed the godfather of Comedy in Africa.
The comedian received two prestigious awards at the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA) held in New Jersey on Saturday.
Omondi received the Best Comedian in Africa and the African King of Comedy Award at the event.
Omondi could not hide his joy after receiving the awards and took to social media to share the news.
“The president is now king. Every obstacle, be it human or object, bow down; best comedian Africa and African king of comedy,” she said
At the same event, Uganda’s Idris Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo took home the Best African Entertainer award beating the likes of Davido and Wizkid.
“Congratulations Uganda. We just won African entertainer of the year 2019 at African entertainment awards, USA,” Wrote Kenzo on Facebook
WCB Boss, Diamond Platnumz together with Ben Ari, bagged an award for the Best Collaboration after their hit song ‘Baila’.
This month alone the singer has managed two garner two other awards, Last Wednesday, he scooped another award in Canada for promoting Swahili language through music and a week ago, scooped yet another award for the Philanthropic Endeavour Community Action following his contribution in the society in Best of Africa Awards (BOA).
