CORD anti -IEBC protest were Monday turned into a looting den, and this is after several youth allegedly from the coalition robbed people in Moi Avenue and at Anniversary towers entrance.
Two suspects were roughed up at the headquarters after their attempt to rob from a journalist a phone was thwarted by a section of CORD supporters.
Several items including phones,wallets and phones were stolen in the demo.
Nairobi police boss Japheth Koome has however, warned CORD fraternity against engaging in the mass protest against IEBC commissioners terming it unlawful.
Later on a section of Jubilee politicians counter- attacked their opponents but were swiftly teargassed by the police.
